SAMBA, Sept 24: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized six vehicles across the district Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Station (PS) Ramgarh, SHO Police Station Ghagwal, SHO Police Station, Vijaypur, Incharge Police Post (PP) Rakh Amb Talli and, incharge Police Post (PP) Supwal falling under Police Station Samba while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized six vehicles including a dumper without Registration Number, two tractor trolleys bearing Registration Number JK21E-9176 & JK21K-3155 and three tractor trolleys without Registration Numbers which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All these vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
