SRINAGAR, June 4: Police in collaboration with SDRF organised two-day workshop to impart basic first aid training to ponywallas, dandy walas and rafters in Pahalgam.
A police spokesman said 30 volunteers and 10 policemen participated in the workshop.
“The initiative was taken in the backdrop of thousands of tourists and yatris take pony ride and in case of any incident these volunteers could provide first aid to the tourists/yatris before shifting him to the nearest medical unit.”
