RAJOURI, Nov 9: The Ace of Spades Division of Army under Operation Sadhbavana organized Pir Panjal Knights Premier League Tournament under which boys T20 cricket and girls kho-kho matches were played.
In the final match of cricket tournament played between Poonch and Nowshera, team from Poonch sector won while in the girls kho-kho tournament, Rajouri team emerged as the winner by defeating team from Nowshera.
Both the winners will take part in next level tournament to be organized by White Night Corps of Army in Reasi later this month. In the concluding function GOC 25 Div, Maj General Saranjeet Singh handed over prizes among the winning teams.
While addressing Maj Gen Saranjeet Singh said that sports is such a platform through which bad habits among youth can be wiped out while he assured that Army will keep undertaking such steps by which a good platform could be provided to youth to show their sports talent.
