POONCH, Sept 9: Poonch Police Sports Festival 2017 organized under Civic Action Programme entered in its fourth day, here today.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Poonch Ayaz Khan was the chief guest in today’s events.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were DySP Mohan Sharma, Abdul Rehman Principal Raja Ul Uloom poonch, Makhan Lal Bhaglal,Taranpreet Kour, Nirdosh Kumar, Incharge Manager Sports Stadium Poonch, Sham Lal Sharma, SAI coach, Rajinder Singh and Tariq Khan.
Today events included football and T-20 cricket for boys and Taekwondo for boys and girls. All the participants displayed sportsmanship, enthusiasm and vigour to excel in their fields.
In football, Chandak Lion team defeated Gujar Hostel by 3 goals and in 2nd match Jhulas club defeated Poonch Club by 2-0 goals.
In cricket match, Poonch Royal club outplayed Kalai Club by 28 runs, while in another match Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club defeated Boys Higher Secondary Poonch by 6 runs.
