POONCH, Apr 8: Poonch XI and YCC Poonch defeated their rivals to advance in the ongoing Police Martyrs T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by District Police Poonch, under Civic Action Programme at Govt Degree College Ground, here.
In the first match, Poonch-XI won the toss, elected to bat first and scored 129 runs, while chasing the target, Chandak Cricket Club scored 93 runs, thus Poonch-XI won the match by 36 runs.
In another match, Mangnar Cricket Club won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, YCC Poonch scored 168 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Mangnar Cricket Club collapsed at paltry 65 runs, thus YCC Poonch won the match by 103 runs.
Huge gathering of sports lovers witnessed both the matches.
