MENDHAR, May 1: A porter working with Army was injured in a mine blast near the Line of Control in Mendhar area of Poonch sector today.
Official sources said that villager Mohd Bashir, son of Ghulam Din, resident of Gohlad in Mendhar, working as porter with Army (Punjab Rgt), was seriously injured in land mine blast in Sabra Gali area of LoC this afternoon. He was rushed to local Military hospital and then shifted to Rajouri Army Hospital. His both legs were seriously injured in the explosion.
