KATHUA, Oct 1: The Red Ribbon Club of the Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, in collaboration with J&K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society organized the Poster/College Making Competition on the themes ‘Know-AIDS-NO-AIDS’ ; ‘Donate Blood for Precious Life’ in the College.
20 students of the College participated in the Intra-College Competition.
The programme was organized under the overall supervision of Dr Neeraj Kumar and Prof Rachna, NSS Programme Officer.
Principal of the College Dr Ram Krishan highlighted the importance of Blood Donation and said that the youth should voluntarily donate the blood to save precious lives.
Prof Kamaljeet Kour and Prof Balbir Kumar were the adjudicators on the occasion.
Chetan Jyoti claimed the first prize, second prize went to Pummy Sharma and third prize was shared by Vrinda Sharma and Diksha Verma.
The prizes were distributed among the winners by the Principal of the College.
The prize distribution function was attended by all the faculty members of the College.
