KATHUA, Jan 2: On the 6th day of the ongoing ‘Special Winter Camp’ organized by the GLDM Degree College Hiranagar, a Poster Making Competition on the theme of “Blood Donation” was held, here today.
About 15 NSS volunteers participated in the Camp.
Om Parkash Sharma, Community Health Officer of Sub District Hospital Hiranagar and Prof Daya Vilas Khajuria, senior faculty member of the College were the jury members on the occasion.
Tamana Rajput of B.Sc. Semester-I, Sona Khajuria of B.Sc. Part-III, and Tania Sharma of BA Semester-I clinched the first, second and third position respectively.
In the post lunch session,Om Parkash Sharma was the resource person, who while speaking on the occasion, threw light on the Centrally Sponsored Health Schemes launched by the Govt. of India for the welfare of common masses.
