JAMMU, Nov 25: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation (JKSPDC) Limited signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for maintenance of 400 KV Baglihar bays at Kishenpur Sub Station of Power Grid.
The agreement was signed between KR Suri, General Manager (O&M) on behalf of Power Grid and PR Angurala, Chief Engineer (E) Baglihar Hydro Electric Project on behalf of JKSPDC in presence of senior officers from both organizations.
As per agreement, operation and routine maintenance of 400 KV Baglihar Bays I & II commissioned for evacuation of Power from Baglihar Hydro Electric Project will be carried out by Power Grid on behalf of JKSPDC.
However, major maintenance of these bays will be carried out by JKSPDC. The MoU will be valid for five years i.e upto July 31, 2018.
