POONCH, Nov 10: Defeating GDC Poonch by five goals to four (5-4) in the summit clash, Power House Hockey Club lifted the title trophy of District Poonch Girls Hockey Tournament, organized by Hockey Poonch at Sports Stadium, here.
For Power House Hockey Club, Ishita scored two goals in 21st and 57th minutes respectively, while Ahilove pelted a goal in 27th minute, Anamika netted it in 47th minute and Mahima in 55th minute. For GDC Poonch, Manpreet scored three goasl in 18th, 57th and 59th minutes respectively, while Ruksana netted one in 21st minute of the match.
The match was officiated by Mohd Shokat, Saval Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar.
District Development Commissioner Poonch, Haroon Malik was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Prem Prakash Luthra, Narinder Singh and Nirdosh Kumar In-charge Sports Stadium, Poonch were present on the occasion.
The tournament was held under the overall supervision of Sham Lal Sharma, retired SAI Hockey coach and vice president, Hockey J&K.
