Power shut down

JAMMU, Aug 24: In order to carry out stringing works in village Chirangal on the span 31-32 of 400 KV D/C Kishenpur-New Wanpoh Transmission Line by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, the shutdown of 33 KV Jhajjar Kotli-Jindrah Line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply fed from Receiving Stations Battal, Dansal and Jindrah will remain affected on August 28 from 8 am to 6 pm.
Similarly, to carry out replacement of damaged jumpers /droppers /improvement of Bus Bars and rectification of other hotspots alongwith replacement of 33 KV breaker of Dibber Bay at 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Udhampur, the power supply to Udhampur, Ramnagar, Chenani, Airforce, MES, Army and Dibber will be affected on August 27 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Likewise, to carry out preventive maintenance, the shutdown of 132 KV D/C CSTL CKT-I and II between Ramban-Thethar Section is being allowed on August 27 from 8 am to 5 pm.
However, the power supply to Banihal area will be fed from 132/33 KV Grid Station Thethar.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out erection, testing and commissioning of 132 KV SF-6 Breaker at Grid Station Hiranagar, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Billawar, Mahanpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on August 27 from 08:00 AM to 12:00 Noon .
However, the power supply to Industrial area of Grid Station BB-II will be met from Grid Station, Gladni.
