JAMMU, Feb 8: Former minister and senior NC leader Mian Altaf (MLA) has alleged that power situation in Ganderbal district and specially in Kangan area has turned grim.
In a press statement here today, the MLA Kangan strongly criticized the present Govt and the PDD authorities for the precarious power situation in the area. He said that people have been plunged into darkness by the PDP-BJP Govt.
Altaf alleged that there is virtual collapse of the power supply system in the entire district for the last two months and the PDD authorities seems to have gone for hibernation. He said the PDD has failed to repair the damaged transformers in many areas and the Govt seems to be uncared about the suffering of the people.
