JAMMU, Jan 31: A PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) competition was organized at JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, wherein students from the different schools namely Elite Public High School, Alexander Memorial School, SD Tara Puri School, Humanity Public School, New Era Environmental High School, BMHS Bishnah, Lawrence Public School and JK Montessorie participated, here today.
The topic of the competition was “Excellence of Specially Abled Children in Sports”. This competition was open for the students of Class IX only.
The motive of the competition was to enhance the technical minds and skills of presenting the topic.
A team of two students participated in the PPT competition. All the participants gave the examples of some prominent specially abled people who had achieved great heights through their hard work and determination.
The main aim of choosing this topic was to make everyone understand that all human beings have something special within them and so do specially abled people.
The participants were very enthusiastic and well prepared. They impressed the audience with their confidence, research work and their way of presentation. The judges were also impressed with the remarkable show of talent and congratulated the winners.
Yashasvi and Arjun from Elite Public School secured 1st position, while Shubham and Piyush from Humanity Public School secured 2nd position and Prince and Priyanshi from SD Tara Puri School clinched 3rd position.
Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore was the chief guest on the occasion and he appreciated all the participants. He spoke about an unlimited potential in every individual that can be honed at every opportunity and at every stage.
The event was presided over by Kamla Dogra-guest of honour, a senior Lecturer of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Canal Road Jammu, while Rajni Gupta, Director JK Montessorie School Apurv Gupta, Head of Operations, Aarti Gupta, Vice Principal JKMS, senior coordinator and the team of official from CEO Office Jammu were present during the event.
The program concluded with the National Anthem.
