Praful powers RCC Srinagar to big win

JAMMU, Nov 22: Young right-arm off-spinner, Praful Dhar scalped 3 important wickets at crucial juncture of the match to power Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) Srinagar to big 7-wicket win over Yankees Cricket Club in an ongoing T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by KC Sports Club at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Yankees Cricket Club scored a modest total of 103 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs as Praful spun web to trap three of the set batsmen in his spell of 4 overs. Abhay Bakaya was the top scorer with 31 runs off 32 balls, studded with 3 fours and one six, while Goldy and Manpreet contributed 22 and 14 runs to the total respectively. For RCC Srinagar, Praful was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 wickets by conceding 21 runs in his 4 overs, while left-arm spinners Amit Sharma and Rohit Sharma bagged 2 and one wicket respectively.
In reply, RCC chased the target easily in 15.3 overs, losing 3 wickets in the process, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Puneet Wattal top scored with unbeaten 24 runs, while Satish Kumar and Ahmer contributed 23 and 20 runs respectively. For YCC, Kapil took all the 3 wickets to fall.
Earlier, in another match, Rommy Sports Club defeated Chib Cricket Club by 116 runs in an easy contest. Batting first, Rommy Sports scored a decent total of 180 runs. Parveen Singh and Manish Dogra scored 40 runs each, while Puneet Kumar contributed 30 runs to the total. For Chib Club, Rawat took 2 wickets, while Sahil claimed one.
In reply, Chib Club bundled out for a paltry total of 64 runs in 13.5 overs. Speedster Rohit Sharma was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 4 wickets, while Rahil Singh, Vijay Dogra, Akash Choudhary and Puneet claimed one wicket each.
