Prathamansh excels in Science Art competition

JAMMU, Dec 10: Prathamansh Sharma (Class XI), a budding artist of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the Institution and his parents by winning third prize in category-A of Drishika National Level Science Art Competition IGNITE-2022, organized online by National Institute of Science Education and Research at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
He has also received a certificate of achievement. The theme of the competition was “Country, women and science, what is it that comes to your mind?”
Prathamansh made a beautiful painting of late Indian-American astronaut, Dr Kalpana Chawla by using mediums such as poster colours, acrylic colours along with dry brush on cartridge paper which received huge appreciation.
Prathamansh has been inspired in childhood by his father Suresh Sharma, a renowned artist of Jammu.
Principal Ruchi Chabra congratulated Prathamansh and his parents and encouraged him to continue to excel in his artistic pursuits along with his studies.
