LEH, June 4: Government of Union Territory of Ladakh has appointed Preet Pal Singh, Chief Conservator of Forest, Ladakh as ex-officio Administrative Secretary of Law and Justice Department, of the UT.
“In the interest of administration and for smooth and speedy disposal of files and transaction of Government business, it is hereby ordered that Preet Pal Singh, Chief Conservator of Forest, Ladakh shall function as ex-officio Administrative Secretary of Law and Justice Department, Union Territory of Ladakh,” said an order issued by Rigzin Sampheal, Commissioner/ Secretary, General Administration Department.
The order reads that all the files/communications/correspondences pertaining to Law and Justice Department shall be placed before the officer by the subordinate offices for further submission to the Advisor to Lt Governor or otherwise in accordance with the business rules in vogue and disposed accordingly.
