JAMMU, Nov 1: The second day of the 61st Annual Day of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School , Jammu was celebrated with pomp and show in the School Campus, here today.
RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor Jammu University was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rt. Rev Bishop Ivan Pereira was also present.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Manager of the School Sr Stella, Principal of the School, Sr Hema, Primary School Coordinator, Shweta Bakshi and Head Girl, Bhavya Jain.
The musical dance drama titled ‘Beckoning Light’ depicted the agony of an expatriate who had been away from her domain but longs to be part of her realm, her Motherland.
The programme resonated the values of presentation legacy and revolved around the fact that all are part of one Universe.
The audience were enthralled by the performances of the students.
The chief guest in his address lauded the immaculate performance of the students and appreciated the efforts of the School in imbibing true value of patriotism and deep sense of belongingness among the students.
The programme concluded with the felicitation of the meritorious students by the dignitaries on the occasion.
