JAMMU, Oct 27: Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School Jammu celebrated Annual Day here today. Dr. Geetanjali Andotra Rana, Principal, Government Degree College, Ramgarh, was the chief guest whereas Nishikant Khajuria, Senior Journalist of Daily Excelsior, was the guest of honour on this occasion.
The students of class IX to XII put up a cultural display celebrating the diversity of India. They showcased dances and monuments of different States and also put up cuisine stalls doling out tasty savouries for all to enjoy. This was followed by the gala performance of the musical dance-drama ‘The Necklace’, an adaptation of the story written by Guy de Maupassant. The theatrical adaptation was a blend of dances and drama.
The guests, in their speeches, lauded the students for their spectacular performance and appreciated the school for its exemplary efforts to ensure holistic development of its students. School management felicitated the students with certificates of appreciation and mementos.
