JAMMU, Nov 3: Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Jammu, celebrated Annual Day for classes VI – VIII with unparalleled zeal and enthusiasm here today.
Faisal Qureshi, SSP, Traffic, Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion while Rosarie Lordan, the Presentation Congregation Archivist and Theresa Viegas, Archivist, North India Province, were the guests of honour.
The highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing cultural extravaganza featuring a powerful play that eloquently narrated the poignant tale of the River Tawi. The graceful and energetic performances beautifully portrayed the rich cultural heritage of Jammu that mesmerized the audience.
The students committed themselves to understand the role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in ensuring the cleanliness and preservation of the Tawi River for future generations.
Faisal Qureshi expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the School’s Management and staff in organizing such a grand event. He commended the students for their exceptional performances and their commitment to preserving and celebrating the culture of Jammu.
