JAMMU, May 10: Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar Jammu organised Peace Club Initiation ceremony in the school auditorium here today to induct budding messengers of Peace of Class-VI.
The animators of the previous session shared their memorable journey as Peace Club members. The aims and objectives of the Club were highlighted with the help of a power-point presentation. A skit based on the sermon of Gautam Buddha was enacted depicting the importance of inner peace in our lives. Badges of ‘Peace Ambassador’ were conferred on the students.
The young minds along with their teachers took an oath to be peacemakers and peace promoters. The programme was given a befitting ending with the encouraging words of the Principal, Amelina Rodrigues. She motivated the newly inducted members to become agents of peace around them.
