DODA, June 19: President XI Sunderbani outplayed Green Shaheen Doda by 6 wickets and registered berth in the semis of Group D in the ongoing All India 9th Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by J&K Bank, Bajaj Allianz and Rashtriya Rifles at Sports Stadium, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Green Shaheen scored 137 runs by losing 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Karan was the main scorer with 54 runs, while Jammal Deen contributed 22 runs respectively.
From President XI side, Ankit Dabas and Vikas scalped two wickets each.
In reply, President XI chased the target in 13.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Vikas Singh was the highest scorer with 33 runs, followed by Ankit Dabas who contributed 23 runs.
From Green Shaheen side, Rajesh and Saleem shared one wicket apiece.
Vikas Singh of President XI Sundarbani was declared as man of the match for his best all round performance and was awarded with cash prize and a trophy by Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
The match was officiated by BCCI Ranji Trophy Umpire Neraj Tegi and Ifroz Rather, while Shahid Pampori marinated the scorecard.
