Principals of Army Schools hold Meet

UDHAMPUR, Sept 24: A two days annual Northern Command Army Public School Principals Meet 2015 was organized by APS Udhampur, today.
The Meet was attended by chairman, Principal and Staff Officers of all seven Army schools in the State of J&K and also representatives from Army’s five other commands.
Maj General, BS Daulta (Retd) MD Army Welfare Education Society New Delhi also graced the occasion.
Lt Gen NPS Hira, Chief of Staff of HQ Northern Command presided over the meet and gave away the prizes for academic excellence, sports and co-curricular activities.
Presentation on various topics by four Principals included ‘Inculcating reading habits among students’ by APS Udhampur, management strategy to improve academic performance by APS Srinagar, balancing academic and other activities in school by APS Nagrota.
The aim of the Annual Army Public Schools 2015 Meet was to discuss issues related to betterment and development of Army schools, formulate policies and rules under the aegis Army Welfare Education Society.
Brig Manoj Mohan, the chairman of APS Udhampur delivered the welcome address on the first day of the Meet and extended vote of thanks to all.
