Prinkle qualifies for main draw of Asian Jr C’ship

JAMMU, Apr 12: Prinkle Singh, tennis player of Jammu and Kashmir today qualified for the main draw of the ongoing Asian Closed Junior Championship 2015, Grade B-1 at Delhi Lawn Tennis Association, RK Khanna Tennis Stadium DLTA Tennis Complex, Africa Avenue, New Delhi.
Thirty two players from the countries like India, China, Japan, Thailand Tapai Chinese, Philippines, Hong-Kong and Kazakistan participated the championship.
In first qualifying round, Prinkle Singh (Ind) defeated Ridhi Ramesh Sharma (Ind) by score 6-1, 6-1, in second round today Prinkle Singh (Ind) defeated Shivani Manjana
(Ind) 3rd seed by (6-4 6-7 6-1) in a three setter match in final qualifying round which was also held today.
Prinkle Singh (Ind) defeated Daas Shrishti, 6th seed of the tournament (Ind) by (6-3, 6-3).
