UDHAMPUR, Aug 1: Councilors of Udhampur Municipal Council, Sarpanches of Udhampur district, Panch besides local people demonstrated vigorously alleging fraud in the recent transfers of Teachers, Masters and Lecturers.
They claimed that in the recent transfer list of the Education Department, Teachers were transferred at zero kilometers.
The protesting PRIs said that despite the shortage of teachers in the schools in the hilly areas, teachers are transferred and posted in the city schools. “This clearly shows that how much fraud happened in the School Education Department in recent transfer list,” they said and demanded a CBI probe in the recent transfer list.
Sarpanch Shivdev Singh, Sarpanch Sunil Manohar, Sarpanch Surjit Singh, Councillor Samnik Bhasin, Councillor Jagdish Kumar and Councillor Darshan Kumar led the protest, which was attended by a large number of people.
