Private Schools Association seeks representation in advisory board

KATHUA, Feb 11: Private Schools Association (PSA), unit Mahanpur district Kathua, held a meeting at Seri Mahanpur under the chairmanship of provincial secretary cum coordinator Ajay Gupta.
Highlighting the hardships being faced by the various private schools in rural area and semi urban areas, all members from different areas expressed resentment about the policy of the state govt. regarding recognition/up gradation/affiliation.
The members said that most of the schools are being run by the educated unemployed youth. The Government does not provide any type of financial aid and it becomes difficult to implement SRO 121, SRO123, SRO80, SRO304, SRO740 etc. as most of the schools are low budget schools.
In the meeting provincial secretary of Private Schools Association Jammu Ajay Gupta appealed Govt. to take the stake holder in confidence in addition to bureaucrat, politicians, eminent educationist, academicians, administrators and planner in the state Education Advisory Board.
The prominent who spoke on the occasion were Dharam Chand ,Naresh Basotra, Shanti Bhushan, Run Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Ajit Singh, Sagar Sharma , Kuldeep Kumar, Kamlesh Kumari, Ajay Kotwal, Vipan Singh, Siddeshwar Sadotra ,Vaneet Gupta, DD Khajuria and others.
