JAMMU, Apr 30: Minister of State for Information, Culture and Education Priya Sethi and senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi inaugurated new showroom of M/S CM Trading at Talab Tillo, here today.
The new showroom deals in scientific applications, laboratory chemicals and school and college items.
Stressing on need to have modern study tools in schools, Priya said scientific models and laboratory equipment surely makes learning easy and intricate concepts can be understood in a lucid way.
She said better equipment would surely help students in learning new concepts of science and would go a long way in quenching scientific thirst of budding students.
“New initiatives in the field of education sector involve creating better school infrastructure and availability of required laboratory and scientific applications items would surely help existing as well as new laboratories,” she added.
Appreciating the variety of scientific application equipment in the showroom, Yudhvir Sethi said availability of quality school and college applications would help the education sector in the State.
He said the showroom has made possible local availability of reputed international brands in scientific application and laboratory equipments and the same would surely help education institutes in getting the items at economical rates.
He said besides school laboratories, the prestigious Indian Institute of Integrative Medicines can get good quality equipment and laboratory material within the city only.
