JAMMU, Dec 18 : KC Sports Club today hosted 2nd semifinal of Sudarshan Mahajan Memorial Inter School Indoor Cricket Tournament 2015 sponsored by the management of KC Public School, here.
A cricket match was played between KC Public School and Project Model School today morning under-14 years age category. The match was played inside the spacious Cricket Hall at the Club as per the indoor Cricket regulations prevalent in the world.
The match was played in the air-conditioned indoor Cricket Hall with 9 pitches, 5 fast and 4 spin pitches with surface of 16000sq. ft. The Tiger Turf surface imported from New Zealand and ideally suited for both pace and spin bowling as well as for batting. Automatic Bola Bowling machine is also available for batting practice.
K C Public School won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, KCPS made 27 runs. Prabal and Abhay made 7 and 6 runs respectively. Himanshu and Manik of Project Model took 3 and 2 wickets resepctively.
While chasing the target Project Model also bundled out on 27 runs. Himanshu and Arustu made 10 and 7 runs each. From bowling side Abhay and Manik took 2 wickets each. The winner of match was decided in super over where Project Model defeated KCPS by a margin of 1 run.
At the end of the match players practice with the Bola Bowling Machine imported from England to improve their reflexes under the supervision of YSCE coaches.
