POONCH, Mar 1: Members of Youth Club Poonch held protest demonstration against the BSNL authorities for poor services of the company in the area.
Members of the Club led by Nishu Gupta assembled outside the office of BSNL and held demonstration for about an hour. They also disrupted the movement of traffic on Poonch-Jammu road for some time. They alleged that internet service has been badly hit for the last several days. The work in banks, other offices has been badly hit and the public is suffering. The concerned BSNL staff is hardly bothered about the issue and moreover, Customer Care Service of the company remains un-responded for hours together. There seems to be no accountability of the senior or junior officers and those sitting at the top seems to have gone to hibernation. They sought the intervention of Chief General Manager, BSNL J&K Circle. After staging protest for about an hour the youth activists dispersed.
