UDHAMPUR, Dec 29: A large number of residents held a protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) and also blocked Panchari- Udhampur road today.
The residents were demanding regular power supply in block Pancheri and seeking immediate intervention of concerned authorities of PDD to provide respite to the people from scheduled and unscheduled power cuts. The residents warned the authorities to improve the power situation or get ready to face a prolonged agitation.
