They appealed DG Police to install CCTV cameras inside every police station of the State so that such incidents may be prevented.
Another protest was held by some women activists outside Press Club. Led by National Conference worker, Komal Singh Manhas, the women hold a massive protest carrying placards in their hands with slogans against the SHO Mohammed Iqbal and demanding severe punishment for him.
Manhas, while addressing the gathering of protesting women, said it is very unfortunate that the Chief Minister of J&K, who herself is a woman, did not utter a single word of condemnation against this heinous crime.
