Protests for restoration of statehood to J&K

JAMMU, Aug 2: President Sunil Dimple along with leaders of Mission Statehood today staged protest demonstration for restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir with special status, here today.
While addressing the media, Dimple criticised the Union Government decision of August 5, 2019 wherein it had bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir State into two Union Territories by dismantling two hundred years old princely Dogra state of Maharaja Gulab Singh.
He also extended full support to people of Leh and Kargil for restoration of full-fledged statehood that too with Article 370 and demanded that the Prime Minister of India should announce restoration of the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir with special status from the floor of the Parliament during this session.
