PULWAMA, Jan 7: Condemning the petrol-bomb attack on the house of Bashir Ahmed Malik, People’s Republican Party (PRP) candidate of Hakarpora from Pulwama Assembly Constituency, spokesperson PRP, Syed Riyaz Bukhari appealed the Government for security of his party leaders, who contested recent elections in the State to strengthen the democratic process.
In a statement issued here, Mr Bukhari termed the act not only gruesome or barbaric but satanic too. He said despite increase in terrorist activities, Govt has withdrawn the security of the candidate who contested the recent Assembly elections.
While demanding the security of the candidates, Bukhari said that it is very difficult to move around without proper security in polluted and panicky atmosphere. He warned the Government will be held responsible for any damage to any leader or worker of the party.
