JAMMU, Jan 31: Peepal Tree School (PTS), Jammu, celebrated its Annual Sports Day at its Lower Roop Nagar campus.
The students from both primary and pre- primary wing participated in the event. The whole playground was decorated with flags, buntings and balloons.
The celebrations began with tiny tots performing a drill of drum. The students showcased their talents in various sports event including lemon race, tug of war, relay race, hopping race, etc.
At the end, the prize distribution function was held. Bhawana Baloria, coordinator of primary wing of the school, gave away the certificates to the participants of pre- primary wing of the school while Vasundhara Ganjoo, coordinator of pre-primary wing of the school, distributed certificates to the participants of primary wing.
Trustee and Principal of the school, Aaakash Singh in his address emphasized the importance of sports activities for overall development of children.
