SAMBA, Oct 28: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized a cricket match between PTTI staff and trainees of various courses under the supervision of Shiv Kumar, Principal, Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur, here today.
The objective behind organizing cricket match was to promote sports activities, enhance physical fitness, endurance as well as inculcate a sense of team spirit, sportsmanship among the Police personnel and as a distressing measure.
Principal PTTI Vijaypur, tossed the coin which was won by SI Kapil Raina, Captain Staff Team PTTI Vijaypur, who decided to bat first. Batting first PTTI Staff Team, Khuswant Singh, DySP (Admn) and Davinder Gupta, DySP (R&D) PTTI Vijaypur opened the innings and gave a good start to the team and set a target of 93 runs in 12 overs for the trainees team. In reply, the trainee’s team successfully chased the target and won the match by two wickets in the last over.
