The Daily Excelsior used to publish the MLA(s) report card last year through its correspondants, in a transparent manner by virtue of which the common masses, voters and the Govt as well was becoming aware about the performance shown by the MLAs/ in their representative consituencies/Assembly segments of J&K State.
It is requested that the above mentioned procedure many kindly be continued this year also so that the general public, voters, the Govt and the other agencies of the Govt may become aware about the performance of the MLA(s), MLC(s) and may also become aware about the utilization of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) provided to them by the Govt which has been doubled this year.
The concerned correspondents may very kindly interact with cross sections of the people and seek opinions, suggestions and grievances (if any) from them and seek comments and suggestions from all the political parties including the independent candidates /MLA(s) at least after every three months in a year and also to seek information from the MLA(s)/MLC(s) as to how much amount as CDF have been provided to them, how much of it has been utilized and the balance amount with them.
Hope, my suggestions as a citizen are taken into consideration and in the best interest of the welfare of the people of the State.
