PULWAMA, Aug 4: Faisal Mushtaq, a promising young athlete from Qasba Yaar, Pulwama, has brought immense pride to Jammu and Kashmir by winning a silver medal at the 18th Floorball National Championship, which took place in Rohtak, Haryana. Faisal’s outstanding performance in the championship was made possible through the sponsorship and support provided by the Pulwama Police, underscoring the collaborative effort that led to his success.
Expressing his gratitude, Faisal credited the J&K Floorball Association for offering him a platform to showcase his talent and extended heartfelt thanks to SSP Pulwama, P. D Nitya, for her unwavering support and encouragement. “I am thankful to the J&K Floorball Association for providing me with a platform to showcase my skills and to SSP Pulwama, P. D Nitya, for her support,” Faisal remarked.
Faisal is now gearing up for his next big challenge: the upcoming Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games, scheduled to be held in Chonburi, Thailand, later this year. With a strong focus on refining his skills, Faisal is determined to make a mark on the international stage. His long-term goal is to represent India at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with the dream of standing on the podium as the national anthem plays.
