JAMMU, Mar 25: Power-packed 64 runs off 28 balls by Puneet Kumar and valuable contribution of 44 runs by Jatin Wadhawan helped Abrar Cricket Club to drub KC Sports Club a big margin of 86 runs in the ongoing 1st SP Smart T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Vicky Raina and his team at ma Stadium, here.
Batting first, Abrar Cricket Club scored a mammoth total in the stipulated 20 overs. Puneet Kumar scored magnificent 68 runs, while Jatin and Ishtiaq contributed 44 and 22 runs to the total respectively. Abhishant and Ajay were the successful bowlers for KCSC.
In reply, KCSC failed to chase the big total and lostthe match by a huge margin of 86 runs. Vivek and Rohan Koul contributed 26 and 25 runs to the total respectively. Akash Choudhary, Kuldeep Kumar and Ashraf were the successful bowlers for Abrar Cricket Club. For his brilliant batting display, Puneet was adjudged as man of the match.
