SAMBA, Apr 14: Punjab Hockey Club thrashed Singh Club, Bandhu Rakh by 3-1 goals in the inaugural tie of the Young Heroes Memorial Hockey Tournament, being organised by Hockey Association, Hiranagar.
In the second match, Rising Stars Hockey Club, Hiranagar outplayed Lashipur Hockey Club by a huge margin of 4-1 goals and advanced to the next round of the ongoing tournament.
Jaswant Singh, Chief Patron awarded the winners, in presence of Ramesh Singh, Atma Singh Jasrotia, Narinder Sharma, coach, Sunit Dutt, Vinod Chibber, locals and sports lovers.
