Punjab declares 1st innings at huge 690/5, J&K 85/2 in second essay

JAMMU, Mar 30: In reply to J&K’s first innings total of 320 runs, Punjab declared their first innings at a huge score of 690/5 to gain sizeable first innings lead, thus are in sight of an outright win against Jammu and Kashmir in Multi-day Under-25 CK Nayudu Trophy at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium, New Delhi.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight score of 309/2, Punjab rode on a double century (233) by skipper Sanvir Singh, 182 by Pukhraj Singh and unbeaten 102 by Naman Dhir and scored mammoth 690 runs by losing 5 wickets before declaring their innings. For J&K, Lone Nasir Muzaffar and Taizeem Tak took 2 wickets each while skipper Shubham Singh Pundir claimed one wicket.
J&K in their second essay were 85/2 at stumps on the Penultimate day today.
Henan Nazir was at the crease on 38, while Pundir was at 3. Dikshant Kundal and Arya Thakur scored 20 and 18 runs respectively.
For Punjab, Aryaman Dhaliwal and Abhinav Sharma claimed one wicket each.
