Punjab Wrestler Gani lifts Londna Kesari Dangal Title

UDHAMPUR, June 7: Wrestler Abdul Gani of Mallarkotla, Punjab clinched the “68th Annual Londna Kesari Dangal Title” by defeating wrestler Sukha of Rajasthan in the first Malli bout which lasted for 6 minutes at Baba Londna Dev Sathal here today.
The dangal was organized by Jai Baba Londna Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
The winner Abdul Gani was awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000, while runner up wrestler Sukha got Rs 8,000.
On the prize distribution ceremony, BJP, State vice president and senior leader Pawan Kumar Gupta was the chief guest who gave away cash prizes to winners and runner up wrestlers in presence of Shiv Kumar Sharma, president, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Additional SP, Binam Tosh, SHO Gain Chand Sharma, District Horticulture Officer, Virender Sharma, citizens and sports lovers.
Among others present were Khem Raj Dubey, president, Sunil Kumar Pujari, Viswa Nath, Purn Sharma, Kartar Chand, Mukund Lal, Khem Raj, Durga Dass, Suram Singh, Vijay Singh, Virender Sharma, Mohd Fareed, Moona Khan, Lashman Singh, Om Parkash Verma, Subedar (retd) Talivinder Singh and Murli Dhar.
