JAMMU: Pushp Vatika, a pre-primary school located in Jeevan Nagar, celebrated its Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function at the Police Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar, under the theme ‘Hamari Sanskriti’.
The chief guest on the occasion was Sat Sharma, President of BJP, while the guests of honour included Baldev Raj Sharma (MLA, BJP Katra), Romalo Ram (Padma Shree Awardee – Dogri Folk Singer), Mohan Singh Slathia (Padma Shri Awardee – Dogri Author), Ajay Sharma (SP, South Jammu), Vikram Singh Chib (President, Yuva Rajput Sabha), Sonali Dogra, Pawan Singh (Ex-Corporator ) and Pankaj Khajuria.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries. The young students added charm to the occasion with vibrant cultural performances, the Butterfly Dance, and folk performances from various states, which captivated the audience.
The Principal, Headmistress, Director of RMPS, and staff of Pushp Vatika were also present, ensuring the smooth execution of the program. Sat Sharma lauded the school administration and teachers for their dedication and tireless efforts in nurturing young minds, acknowledging how their hard work had led to the school’s success.
Risheek Mengi, the Director, presented the school’s annual report, detailing its achievements during the academic session 2024-25. Sushma Sharma, Headmaster, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff and parents for their unwavering support.
