Pvt schools, ETT Institutions hold meeting

JAMMU, Sept 8: A meeting of the “Jammu Private Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive)” was held here under the leadership of its president Deep Singh to discuss the overall developments in education field of the State.
While discussing the malfunctioning of the JK School Board, it was noted with surprise that tout culture was being promoted by the top official of the J&K School Education Board for its use in corruption or misdeeds and media exploitation just to divert the intention of the Government.
Association, termed such development as quite alarming and urged the State Government particularly the Chief Minister for a prompt action in the interest of more than seven lakh school going children of the State.
Among others the meeting was attended by G S Charak, S Gurtaj Singh, Pankaj Sangral, JS Chib and Kuldeep K Rao.
