SRINAGAR:
To make system in the Roads and Building (R&B) department more transparent, the State Government scaled down threshold limit for e-tendering.
An official spokesman said that Government has ordered that all works and procurements costing more than Rs one lakh shall be tendered through e-tendering in all the departments falling under the administrative control of the Public Works (R&B) Department.
The Government yesterday forcibly retired 63 tainted officers and employees including two chief engineers, several other senior engineers. (AGENCIES)
