JAMMU, Dec 14: The two-day Annual Sports Meet at PWHS Higher Secondary School, Pouni Chak, kicked off with great enthusiasm, celebrating the school’s commitment to holistic education. Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West, was the chief guest and praised the school for blending tradition with modernity.
The event began with a warm welcome extended to the chief guest by the school’s management, including Academic Director Arun Ambardar, Chairperson Basanti Ambardar, and Principal Anita Koul. BJP Mandal President Keshav Chopra, Deepak Sharma, Sudarshan Sharma, and Ajay Takoo were also present on the occasion.
In his speech, Gupta commended the school’s efforts to promote both physical and mental well-being, calling it an exemplary mix of cultural values and modern educational practices. He also applauded the school for its eco-friendly initiatives, including the ban on toxic food items and polythene.
The sports meet saw students engage in a range of competitive events, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
