PWS demands round the clock power supply during Ramzan

JAMMU, Apr 21: To highlight the issues confronted by the people, the senior citizens of Butwani village in Ganderbal tehsil of Kashmir constituted Peoples Welfare Society (PWS) in a meeting today.
The meeting was chaired by Haji Ghulam Nabai Mir. In his introductory address Mir Ghulam Rasool highlighted the pressing problems of the people which included price hike, increasing power curtailment, insanitation, black marketing and hoarding, increasing fee by private schools and the wrong attitude of their management , rising corruption and losses suffered by the orchardists due to hailstorm incessant rains etc.
The meeting highlighted the sacrifices of the people who worked for their entire life for the welfare of the masses for creation of a healthy society. They appealed the youth to work on their lines for the welfare of people of the area.
It urged the authorities concerned to take immediate steps in redressing the problems of the people of the area and ensure round the clock power supply during the month of holy Ramzan.
Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Bashir Ahmed Ganai, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat , Haji Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Ali Mohammed Mir and Dr Abdul Abdul Majid etc addressed the meeting.
