Poonch, Apr 5: Youth Congress held a public meeting in support of Madan Lal Sharma, NC-Congress candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency. Shahnawaz Choudhary, State President Pradesh Youth Congress, Bashir Naaz, Vice Chairman, Gujjar Bakarwal Advisory Board and Rajinder Singh, President, District Congress Committee Poonch were present.
Speaking in the meeting, Shahnawaz said that Congress Party has created rights for the people of India. Congress is the only party who has created the history serving the people since independence. The historical acts like Right to Information Act, Right to Education, Right to Food Security, Right to Public Service Guarantee Act, MGNREGA, PMGSY etc are the result of abled Congress Party leadership.
The meeting was organized by Adv. Abhinav Sharma, Ex-District president Youth Congress Poonch. Others who were present in the meeting included Idrees Ganai, President, Assembly Youth Congress Poonch, Sikandar Hayat, President Assembly Youth Congress Surankote, Sajad Khaki, District president NSUI Poonch & others.
Meanwhile, social and political activist J L Khar launched door to door campaign in support of Madan Lal Sharma and appealed people to vote in his favour and strengthen Congress party.
