SRINAGAR, Aug 24: In an ongoing 28th Srinagar District Snooker Championship, the league matches of quarter finals were held here today.
Waseem Iqbal defeated Umer ul Islam by 28-80, 72-14, 67-60, Mudasir Ashiq defeated Umer Himayun by 35-60, 68-37, 76-37, and Younis Kuchey defeated Amir Khan by 67-21 and 68-35 in Sr. Snooker quarter final matches.
While Younis Kuchey defeated Adnan Khan by 56-10, 74-19, Amir Khan defeated Miya Bashir by 77-12 and 67-29 and Mudasir Ashiq defeated Umer ul Islam by 74-14 and 61-51.
The District Championship has been organized by J&K Billiards and Snooker Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in Srinagar under the supervision of Umer Himayun, vice-president (Kashmir), Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association.
