RAJOURI, Dec 14: The Department of History, Government Degree College Nowshera today organised online inter-college quiz competition on ‘Indian History’ wherein large number of students of different institutions participated.
The quiz competition was organized by Dr Sarveer Hussain Aakhoon under the overall supervision of College Principal, Dr Surinder Kumar.
The first prize was shared by Bashir Ahmad of GDC Thannamandi and Sehrish Muzaffar Wani of Government Women College Baramulla, whereas the second position was shared by Karan Kumar of GDC Nowshera, Basit Hassan of GDC Kilam, Asima Rukhsar of GDC Thannamandi, Sumeet Sharma of Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi and Nittin Kumar from GDC Nowshera. Nandani Thakur of SVS Women Degree College Rajouri secured third position. All the winners were awarded with e-certificates.
The Principal of the college appreciated the faculty of History for organizing the quiz competition.
