JAMMU, Oct 11: A cluster-level quiz competition was organized today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Chiralla.
More than 60 students hailing from different schools of cluster Sunarthawa/Chiralla of Zone Thathri actively participated in the competition.
The programme was chaired by NR Bhagat, principal of the institution. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed upon the need to organize such knowledge enhancing activities in the schools so that talent of the students do not go unused in these remote and far flung areas.
A variety of questions based on Mathematics, Science, GK and Abbreviations were asked in three rounds which were intelligently answered by the participants.
Government Middle School (GMS) Bolian won first prize whereas GHSS Chiralla and GMS Doki managed to bag 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively.
The programme was conducted by Cluster Resource Person, Narinder Singh of Cluster- Sunarthawa (Chiralla).
