JAMMU, Mar 28: A Quiz Competition was organized by Range Police Hqrs Batote under Civic Action programme (CAP) at Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Kishtwar.
Teams from 10 Govt. Higher Secondary Schools participated in the Competition and the participating Schools included Govt. HSS (Boys), Kishtwar, Govt. HSS (Girls), Kishtwar, Kendriya Vidyalaya Kishtwar, Govt. HSS Shroti, Govt. HSS sarthal, Govt. HSS Nagseni, Govt. HSS Palmar, Govt. HSS Filler Thakrie, Govt. HSS Mughalmaidan and Govt. HSS Chatroo.
The Competition was conducted in four rounds namely General Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Sports. After four rounds of questioning three teams belonging to Govt. HSS (Boys), Kishtwar, Govt. HSS (Girls), Kishtwar and Govt. HSS Sarthal were declared as 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs.2500, Rs.1500 and Rs.1000 respectively.
